J.D. Davis Dealing With Joint Inflammation
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (hand, neck) had another MRI over the weekend, which revealed joint inflammation in his left hand. Davis was set to rejoin the team earlier this week before his rehab assignment was paused as a result of a stiff neck. Now it seems that his return will be pushed back a bit further, though he should start swinging again in the next few days. Davis was one of the Mets most productive hitters before the injury, slashing .390/.479/.610 over 41 at-bats with two home runs. He figures to play every day upon his return, so fantasy managers will want to hold Davis on fantasy rosters if they can manage it.
