J.D. Davis Encounters Wrist Setback
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (hand) experienced a flare-up with his left hand last week. It's the same injury that caused him to be placed on the injured list in April and cost him months of the season before returning on July 16. The injury figures to persist for the rest of the season. Davis has been successful in his limited time on the field this year, posting a .915 OPS with four home runs, but fantasy managers can expect Davis to need a greater than usual amount of rest for the remainder of the season.
