J.D. Davis Exits Prematurely Against Philly
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder/third baseman J.D. Davis (hand) exited Saturday's matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies. The team announced that the 28-year-old suffered a left-hand sprain after striking out in the sixth and occurred an inning before the team also lost Brandon Nimmo (finger) to a left index finger contusion. Although the severity of Davis' injury is unknown, it wouldn't be shocking if he weren't in the lineup for the series finale against Philly on Sunday evening.
