J.D. Davis Isn't Starting Game 1 On Tuesday
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis isn't in the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves. The 29-year-old is batting .200 with a .333 on-base percentage, a home run, and a stolen base in 36 plate appearances this season. Davis previously started Monday's contest against Atlanta but will be on the bench for Tuesday's first game with Eduardo Escobar starting at third base and Francisco Lindor at designated hitter. Escobar and Lindor are batting fifth and third respectively.
