3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis isn't starting as the team gets set to take on right-handed starter Zack Thompson and the Miami Marlins on Wednesday. Davis is batting .303 with a .398 on-base percentage and four home runs in 103 plate appearances this season. Jonathan Villar is starting at third base instead and hitting seventh. Villar could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues for fantasy managers in search of home run and stolen base potential.
