J.D. Davis Not In Wednesday's Lineup
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis isn't in the team's starting lineup on Wednesday. Davis has provided some strong fantasy production when on the field for the Mets, hitting .357 with a .455 on-base percentage and four home runs in 66 plate appearances this season. He's started the last four games at third for New York but will be on the bench on Wednesday. Jonathan Villar is starting in his place and is batting sixth against the Cincinnati Reds and right-handed starter Jeff Hoffman. Villar is batting .229 on the season with a .311 on-base percentage, nine home runs and eight stolen bases in 245 plate appearances. His power and speed upside make him a potentially useful streaming option.
