J.D. Davis To Begin Rehab Assignment In Syracuse
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis (finger) was sent to Syracuse to begin a rehab assignment with the team's Triple-A club, according to MLB.com. Davis has been out since the beginning of the month with a finger injury but should be back within the next few days assuming he completes the rehab assignment without a setback. Davis has completed his time on the 10-day IL and can be reactivated as soon as the Mets feel he is ready which would be a welcome addition for fantasy managers missing his versatility as a 3B or outfield option.
