2 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman J.D. Davis is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Davis was traded to the Giants on Tuesday in exchange for slugger Darin Ruf. Now, he'll start at third base and bat fifth versus lefty Julio Urias on Wednesday. Davis should see plenty of at-bats against left-handed pitching down the stretch. He's hitting .238/.324/.359 with four homers and 21 RBI through 66 games this season. The hope is that a change of scenery will spark his bat, but he might only play a platoon role with San Francisco.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
