3 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez had a big game Tuesday, driving in four runs against the Kansas City Royals. He went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, a run scored, and a sacrifice fly. Before this game, Martinez had only driven in eight runs all month. This could be considered a breakout performance for Martinez, who has been mediocre at best since producing a .351/.430/.745 slash line in April.
