3 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez went deep Sunday, launching his 15th home run of the season to dead centerfield off New York Yankees starter Gerrit Cole in the third inning. Martinez went 1-for-4 in the contest with a walk and two runs scored. After a torrid April, Martinez has slowed significantly in the power department, so fantasy managers will hope this begins another hot streak for the slugger, though his .902 OPS for the season reinforces how much of a value he's been after a down 2020 season.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
