3 years agoAfter getting off to a hot start in April and May, Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez is struggling a bit in June. After slashing .406/.467/.604 in May, Martinez is slashing just .247/.325/.452 in June with three home runs and seven RBI. In addition, Martinez is slashing just .091/.125/.091 in the last week heading into a three-game series this weekend against the streaking Cleveland Guardians. Martinez is a risky play right now in standard fantasy leagues until he breaks out of his slump.--JasonHirsch
