3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (wrist) isn't expected to land on the injured list, at least according to manager Alex Cora. Martinez injured his left wrist while sliding into second base during Friday's encounter with the Yankees. The veteran is batting .321 to go along with 41 runs, 39 RBI, and 12 homers this season, so fantasy managers will continue to eagerly await the official word regarding his status ahead of the upcoming contests against the Marlins and Astros.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
