6 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter/outfielder J.D. Martinez (rest) is out of the starting lineup Sunday against the Braves. The 30-year-old power hitter has been in a mini slump lately, notching just two hits in his last five games. Martinez has been a top fantasy asset this season, mashing .320 with 16 home runs and 42 RBI. Martinez should be out of fantasy owners' lineups today but look for him to return to the lineup in the following series to take advantage of a favorable matchup against the Blue Jays.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
