3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (groin) is not expected to suit up for Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The veteran slugger mentioned he was experiencing groin soreness after Wednesday's contest. It sounds like manager Alex Cora is going to play it safe and rest Martinez for at least Thursday's contest. Luckily, this injury sounds like a day-to-day type of issue.
