2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (back) did not play in Monday's 3-1 win over the Guardians but was available, per Red Sox beat writer Chris Cotillo. The 34-year-old has now missed four consecutive games with back spasms, but the fact that he was available is a positive sign. Fantasy managers will be glad to see him return to their lineups, as he is slashing .302/.368/.481 with nine home runs and 38 RBI. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on the lineup card Tuesday, but it sounds as though Martinez could make his second-half debut.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
