2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez (back) is expected to be in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays. According to Red Sox manager Alex Cora, Martinez was scratched earlier with back tightness but will be ready for Wednesday's contest. The 35-year-old had been solid before the injury, slashing .262./.311/.429 with two home runs, five RBI, and five runs across 45 plate appearances in his last 10 games.
