4 years agoWashington Football Team running back J.D. McKissic has been a favorite target of Alex Smith since the veteran took over as the team's starter in Week 9. McKissic has double-digit targets in three games with Smith under center and his 78 targets overall rank second to only Alvin Kamara among running backs. Now, with Antonio Gibson (toe) ruled out, McKissic could see an uptick in carries as well. Peyton Barber will take some rushing-downs work, but expect McKissic to be a big part of the team's gameplan this week.
