J.D. McKissic - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back J.D. McKissic has some flex appeal in Week 8 against a Denver Broncos defense that has struggled as of late. His usage as a pass-catching back is valuable in PPR formats, as he has been targeted 16 times in his past two games. With Antonio Gibson (shin) not 100% healthy, McKissic will likely once again see enough carries and targets to be fantasy relevant, even though Gibson is in line to receive the bulk of reps as the ball-carrier. With a season-high of eight carries, McKissic has been able to stay fantasy relevant because of his role in the passing game. His ceiling is likely limited, but he has a safe floor, which makes him worthy of consideration as a starting option for fantasy managers.
