3 years agoNew England Patriots running back J.J. Taylor exceeded expectations during their second preseason matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. Taylor was decent in their preseason opener, but came alive here. He rushed for 93 yards on 12 attempts with one touchdown in the blowout victory. Taylor also recorded three receptions for 18 yards through the air. It was an impressive outing from Taylor who averaged 7.8 yards per carry in this game. There is a handful of players trying to get a role in the running game for the Patriots. Taylor started near the bottom on the depth chart, but another game like this could flip things around real quick.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
