J.K. Dobbins Officially Out Sunday
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins (knee) is officially out for the Week 1 season opener on Sunday against the New York Jets. Tight end Nick Boyle is also sitting in the regular season opener. Dobbins missed all of last year with a torn ACL, but he was trending in the right direction and was limited in practice all this week leading up to Sunday's game. Baltimore won't rush the 23-year-old back, though, and they're expected to use a committee approach with Mike Davis, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill against the Jets. Dobbins should be considered questionable for Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins, but once he's back to full health, he's expected to be the Ravens primary back. Davis should get the start this Sunday, but fantasy managers relying on Baltimore's backfield in Week 1 could be in for a headache.
