J.P. Crawford Hits Homer Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford hit his sixth home run of the season Thursday en route to a 2-for-4 day against the Texas Rangers. He also doubled. Crawford has been a better baseball player in real life than in fantasy, where he gets no credit for his stellar defense and his lack of counting stats is more heavily penalized. That said, he has slashed .348/.423/.565 over his last seven games, making him a solid short-term pickup for fantasy managers who need a bit of everything from the middle-infield spot.
