5 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford is slated to return to the big league club on Friday as he works his way back from an ankle sprain. In his latest rehab game on Tuesday, Crawford crushed a three-run tater further enforcing he's ready to return for their series against the Athletics this weekend. The 24-year-old was having a decent year in his first season as a Mariner hitting .279 with a homer, seven runs, and five RBI in 17 games as he spent the first month of the year in Tacoma. Crawford is still in development after a couple of miserable seasons in Philadelphia and shouldn't be looked at as a contributor in mixed leagues.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
