3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford played the pest Monday, reaching base four times and scoring two runs against the Houston Astros. Crawford went 3-for-4 and was hit by a pitch. Crawford has put together a .268/.329/.367 slash line with five homers, three steals, 51 runs, and 31 RBI this season, while playing a key role on a surging Seattle team. It may be that he just isn't as good of a fantasy asset as he is a baseball player. Still, fantasy managers could do worse at their middle infield spot than Crawford, who contributes a bit in every category.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
