J.P. Crawford Returns On Thursday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (pectoral) is back at shortstop and is hitting sixth on Thursday against the Detroit Tigers and left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez. Crawford will return after missing the last three games with a pectoral injury. Adam Frazier will move back to the keystone for the series finale against Detroit. Crawford is happy to see the calendar flip to September, as he went 17-for-78 (.218) with no home runs, six RBI, five runs scored and 10 strikeouts in 24 games in August. Overall, the 27-year-old is slashing .256/.335/.350 with five home runs, 33 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases in his 426 at-bats for the M's.
