J.P. Crawford Shines Friday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford had a spectacular night at the plate Friday, going 3-for-3 with a home run. He scored twice, drove in two more, and was also hit by a pitch. The two-run home run came in the top of the fourth inning off of Mike Foltynewicz, and tied the game at four. Crawford has been slowly picking up steam, and he now has an excellent .836 OPS over the last 15 days, and an even stronger 1.077 OPS over the last week. Crawford could make for an excellent short-term fantasy pickup, with potential to have some staying power if he stays in the fifth spot in the order.
