7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop J.P. Crawford is sitting due to rest on Tuesday and is not in the lineup. He's being replaced by veteran Pedro Florimon at short. Manager Gabe Kapler decided to sit most of his lefties Tuesday as they face Diamondbacks southpaw Robbie Ray. Crawford is hitting .185 with two home runs, six RBI and 16 strikeouts in the early season. Crawford hasn't lived up to the hype that made him one of the best prospects in the game during his short MLB career. While there's still a chance he could come around, he's not a must-hold like he used to be.--Dan Fappiano
