J.P. Crawford Still Sidelined Against Tigers
2 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (pectoral) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers. It will be Crawford's third straight game on the sidelines, but he could be available off the bench. Fantasy managers should consider the 27-year-old to be day-to-day. Perhaps he could use a little break heading into the final month of the regular season, as Crawford has gone 17-for-77 (.221) with no homers, six RBI, five runs scored and nine strikeouts in 23 games in August. Adam Frazier is handling the 6 on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Tigers left-hander Tyler Alexander. Frazier is a very low-upside DFS option. The 30-year-old has hit a mediocre .244/.309/.315 this year with only three homers, 33 RBI, 54 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 451 at-bats.
