6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford led the offense against the Brewers Wednesday night, going 3-for-5 with a run and three RBI. The 24-year-old smacked a pair of doubles and hit his second triple of the season staying red-hot in a 9-for-15 tear. Since Crawford's return from the IL on June 14, he's slashed .367/.439/.612 in this span and is holding a crisp .318 average on the season with two homers, 16 runs, and 21 RBI in 29 games. He's settling in nicely as the team's second hitter making him a viable middle infield option in deeper mixed leagues. Crawford doesn't run much or hit for power, but he's shown much-improved plate discipline so far this season and could help out in the batting average and runs categories.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
