3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitchers J.P. Feyereisen (shoulder) and Ryan Thompson (shoulder) are slated to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham. Both pitchers will likely need multiple appearances in Triple-A before being activated and have a decent chance of returning to the Rays bullpen by the end of August. Feyereisen has been sidelined since July 20 and will be used in a high-leverage role once he returns. The 28-year-old owns a 2.81 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts over 41 2/3 innings this season. Thompson will also be used in high-leverage situations after posting a 2.38 ERA, 1,03 WHIP, and recording 11 holds over 36 games in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
