J.T. Realmuto Blasts Ninth Homer
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto went 1-for-5 in a win vs the Nationals Tuesday, but made the hit count as he launched a three-run homer for his ninth long ball of the season. Realmuto has gotten off to a great start this season batting .289 with a healthy .622 slugging percentage. Fantasy managers should expect more of the same from baseball's top catcher as his batted ball metrics back up his hot start. He is averaging over 90 MPH on when he makes contact and already has 10 barrels in just 59 batted balls. Realmuto is locked-in at the plate right now and is a must-start option in fantasy despite tough matchups in his next two games.
