5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-3 with a walk against the White Sox on Sunday. Realmuto scored a run in the contest which is his seventh run scored in the past eight games. In those games, Realmuto is batting .387 with a .806 slugging percentage and is making hard contact at a 58.3 percent rate. Realmuto had his best month of the season in July and has carried his hot hitting into August. He started the season slow, but it seems Realmuto is stepping up to be the elite catching option he was drafted to be.
