5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto and the team have tabled contract extension talks amid the coronavirus shutdown in MLB. The Phillies won their arbitration case against the All-Star catcher, who will make $10 million this season. The Phillies, however, have made it known they want to lock up Realmuto long term ahead of his impending free agency after the season. Realmuto was one of the best catchers in the league last year slashing .275/.328/.493 with 25 homers and nine steals. He should be the first or second catcher off the board in fantasy drafts and currently carries an average draft position of 53rd overall.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
