3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto delivered a go-ahead single in the seventh inning on Friday, despite not being in the original lineup. Realmuto was added to the starting lineup after catcher Andrew Knapp was placed on the covid-IL hours before first pitch. Earlier in the week, the Phillies said Realmuto would see time at first base, but that may change if Knapp misses a significant amount of time. Fantasy managers don't care what mitt Realmuto uses, as long as he keeps producing as a top-five catcher in fantasy. The Philly backstop will likely rest on Saturday, but he'll carry a sturdy .264/.352/.448 slash line into a plus matchup with Madison Bumgarner on Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
