3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto went 0-for-5 in a brutal afternoon at the plate versus Marcus Stroman and the Mets. Fortunately for Philadelphia, Realmuto was much better behind the plate as he caught another seven brilliant innings from Zack Wheeler. Fantasy managers don't care about that, however, as the star catcher has been slumping, now with just two hits in his last 23 at-bats. He hasn't been what fantasy managers were hoping when Realmuto was the consensus top-catcher in fantasy back in March, but he's still been good as he's slashing .277/.378/.457, all of which rank in the top-10 among catchers. Perhaps Realmuto can find his power stroke in the friendly confines of Great American Ballpark in a series versus the Reds starting on Monday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
