J.T. Realmuto Having A Solid Spring
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is having a good Spring Training batting .353 through seven games. The Phillies backstop is 6-for-17 with a home run, four runs scored, and three walks to only two strikeouts so far this spring as he prepares for his second season in Philadelphia. Realmuto didn't have the breakthrough many predicted last season when got out of pitcher-friendly Marlins Park, but he up an .820 OPS which any fantasy baseball player would love from the catcher position. Realmuto had a hard-hit rate north of 40 percent and his 90.3 average exit velocity was well above MLB average. Expect another good season from Realmuto who should be the first or second catcher drafted in fantasy drafts.
