5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto hit a grand slam Sunday afternoon against the Braves. It was Realmuto's 14th home run of the season and brings his RBI total up to 52. Realmuto has been a mild disappointment in his first year with only a .268 average and .318 on-base percentage. He's striking out at a 23.3 percent rate which is over four percent higher than his career average and he added two more strikeouts Sunday afternoon. However, a lesser version of Realmuto is still better than most catchers and should be a top option at the position moving forward. He'll draw some good matchups in a series with the Giants starting Tuesday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
