J.T. Realmuto Homers Again Thursday
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored against the Reds on Thursday. It was the second straight game with a homer for the 28 year-old-backstop who continues to have a strong second half. Realmuto now has 12 homers in 46 games since the All-Star break after hitting only 10 in 85 games before the break. Realmuto's 85 runs scored lead all catchers with the next closest being Yasmani Grandal at 59. Realmuto also leads the position in RBI and stolen bases while slashing a strong .277/.329/.483 and remains one of the few elite catching options in fantasy baseball. He'll look to stay hot this weekend in New York against the Mets.
