4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto (knee) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday and is considered day-to-day after being hit in the knee by a foul ball on Tuesday night, according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki. Realmuto exited Tuesday's game in the eighth inning, after being hit on his left knee by a foul ball in the bottom of the seventh. Manager Joe Girardi said that Realmuto might be available to pinch hit on Wednesday night, but the team does not believe this injury will necessitate a trip to the injured list. Andrew Knapp will start behind the plate tonight and bat seventh against the Nationals.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
