3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto (ankle) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday, according to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. Zolecki added that Realmuto is available off the bench, but the team wants to test him more during pregame warmups before getting the All-Star backstop back in the lineup. Realmuto fouled a ball off his ankle on Sunday, but has been dealing with several nagging injuries as catchers are wont to do this time of year. The Phillies announced Realmuto would see time at first base down the stretch which should help keep his bat in the lineup. Rafael Marchan is in the lineup batting eighth, but fantasy managers don't have much use for the third-string catcher.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
