J.T. Realmuto Sitting On Thursday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Miami Marlins. It will be a normal day of rest for Realmuto. Since the All-Star break, Realmuto has been hot, going 18-for-50 (.360) with five home runs, 16 RBI and 10 runs scored in 14 games to raise his season line to .268/.339/.455 with 13 home runs, 54 RBI, 52 runs scored and 13 stolen bases in 378 plate appearances. When he's on the field, Realmuto is a must-start in fantasy. Garrett Stubbs is doing the catching on Thursday and is hitting eighth against Marlins right-hander Edward Cabrera. Stubbs will be a low-upside DFS play on Thursday. He's hitting .270 on the year but has just four home runs and 11 RBI in 30 games played.
