J.T. Riddle Struggles in Rehab Debut
7 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop J.T. Riddle (shoulder) struggled in his rehab debut on Tuesday, going 0-3 with a strikeout. He was able to play five innings in the field, however. Riddle is returning from August shoulder surgery and will likely have a lengthy rehab assignment ahead of him. When he does return, it's unclear exactly what his role will be, as the Marlins are operating as a revolving door. Riddle is coming off of a season in which he struck out 50 times, but he hit .250 with three home runs and 31 RBI. Riddle is a bit of a wild card, but Marlins fans will certainly pay attention as he gets more rehab games under his belt. Fantasy owners can ignore him until he is close to making his MLB return.
