Jack Doyle Could Be Questionable For Week 2
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (ankle, knee) did not practice on Wednesday and could be up in the air heading into Week 2. Doyle was held to three catches for 49 yards on four targets in Week 1 against the Jaguars. If Doyle can play this week, he will be facing a Vikings Defense that allowed just one catch to tight ends in Week 1. Part of that is a product of the Green Bay offense not targeting the tight end much. However, Doyle is not one of the more heavily targeted players in this offense with guys like T.Y. Hilton, Parris Campbell, Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Quarterback Philip Rivers has built a good rapport with tight ends in the past, but he will need to build one with Doyle before considering Doyle a legitimate tight end option in fantasy lineups.
