5 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel had another impressive multi-point performance in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Islanders, extending his career-high point streak to 16 games. The Sabres captain took the game into the extra frame with a late power-play goal and he also had a power-play assist on a Victor Olofsson goal. The Swede mimicked Eichel's production in the game, and he now has points in 16 of his last 19 appearances. It's been an immense run from Eichel, and it's a shame the team has managed to win only half of the games during his streak, which now includes 27 points in total.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
