5 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel capped off a huge weekend with the team's only goal in Sunday's 4-1 loss at Chicago. He produced a team-high six shots and dished out five hits as well. Eichel entered the weekend with only eight goals, but he recorded a career-high four goals in Saturday's 4-2 victory against Ottawa and now he's suddenly just behind the league's top-five in goals. Sitting on 24 points for the year, Eichel is also just behind the league's top-10 in overall scoring, so he's on his way to posting another great individual season. The Sabres captain gets a nice matchup to improve his goal-scoring streak even further on Tuesday against Minnesota and their generous defense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
