7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect Jack Flaherty is in line to get the start on Saturday against the Pirates. While the move isn't yet official, he was scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday with all signs pointing to him getting the start with the major league club over the weekend. Flaherty shined in his one start at the major league level this far, pitching five innings of one-run ball while striking out nine. He'll be an excellent streaming option on Saturday, although there's no word if he'll stay in the rotation going forward.--Dan Fappiano
