5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starter Jack Flaherty struck out 10 Pirates on Sunday afternoon to earn his 10th win of the season. It was his third 10-strikeout performance of the year, as he tossed eight scoreless innings while allowing eight hits and one walk. Flaherty has been virtually untouchable over his last 12 starts, posting a 6-2 record in that span with a 0.80 ERA over 78 1/3 innings. Flaherty is matchup proof at this point and should never be relegated to the bench until further notice.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
