2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out four across three scoreless innings in Tuesday's rehab start with Double-A Springfield. He threw 52 pitches, landing 34 for strikes. The 26-year-old bounced back on Tuesday after surrendering three runs over one inning in a previous rehab start with Triple-A Memphis last Thursday. He has been limited to just eight innings in 2022 due to a nagging shoulder injury. Flaherty will continue to ramp up his activity and could return to the Cardinals rotation in September.
