3 years agoNew Jersey Devils center Jack Hughes scored on Thursday night at home against the Vegas Golden Knights. Hughes opened the scoring just 101 seconds as he beat Robin Lehner clean. It was his fifth goal of the season in just 11 games. The center enjoyed several more quality scoring chances on the night but no others would go in. He nearly scored with seconds left but the goal did not count. It was a much better effort from Hughes on Thursday than Tuesday's game where he was a -4 against Philadelphia and looked lifeless.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
