5 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. went 3-for-3 at the plate in Wednesday's 13-9 loss against the Tigers, while adding two runs scored and one RBI in the contest. Bradley Jr. connected on his second home run of the spring off of Tigers right-handed starter Ivan Nova, bringing his batting average up to .412 to go along with a .474 on-base percentage through 17 plate appearances to begin the exhibition schedule. Despite the hot start at the plate this spring, Bradley Jr. will only be useful in deeper standard leagues and AL-only fantasy formats as a result of his poor batting average and placement in the Red Sox lineup, as the 29-year-old has produced a subpar .234 batting average and .727 OPS over the past three seasons.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
