Jacob deGrom Dominates Once Again
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom stuck out six, allowed only two hits and one run in four innings of Grapefruit League action on Tuesday against Houston. In nine innings of work this spring, deGrom has now stuck out a ridiculous 16 and allowed only three hits, one run, and one walk while routinely hitting triple digits on the radar gun. The two-time Cy Young winner had a 2.38 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 68 innings in the shortened 2020 season. deGrom is showing no decline in his game and is the consensus top pitcher off the board in all fantasy formats who will provide managers with elite strikeouts and ratios in 2021.
